Printmaking: Mono Printing for beginners
Join tutor and printmaker Anne Davison for this workshop which will introduce you to the print process of monoprint, using nature as an inspiration. What you can expect: Monoprint is one of the basic families of printmaking processes; great for those who love trying out creative techniques. In this workshop, you will experiment creatively with inks, dried leaves, stencils and textures using a printing press to produce multiple one-off monoprints based on nature.
Suitable for: complete beginners, or experienced artists looking to expand their skillset. Also suitable for experienced printmakers as a refresher, or just for enjoyment. The emphasis will be on experimenting and having fun, rather than precision printing.

Printmaking: Tetra Pak Printing
Join tutor and print-maker Anne Davison on this inspiring one-day workshop which will introduce you to Tetra Pak printing, a simple but effective intaglio printmaking technique, using recycled packaging. This workshop is great for those who love learning new creative techniques, or like the idea of reusing everyday materials; in this case juice or milk cartons. Students will learn to cut, score, and peel the carton's surface to make lines and tones, experimenting with techniques like layering colours. To print, you’ll use non-toxic, vegetable oil based inks that are washable with soap and water, and a professional etching press. This session is suitable for beginners, as well as those with some printmaking experience who would like to add to their skillset. The emphasis is very much on experimenting and having fun with this accessible technique.
